WWTF: What's the "F"? Is There Equity in Grading?

Let's talk about the ethical dilemma dealing with grading systems and whether or not there is a lack of equity.

This workshop is designed to facilitate a discussion that will further the understanding of administrators and teachers about grading systems and the role instructional leaders in and out of the classroom play in ensuring more than consistent practices in grading. The conversation will also include any correlation between grades and a student's social, emotional, and or academic development.

The agenda will include 6 specific topics: 1. Types of Grading Systems 2. Is it Fair 3. What Gets Graded 4. Impact of Grading 5. Making Our Practices Consistent 6. Why Shouldn't I Give A Zero/Minimum Threshold Grading
