Recharge, Reflect, and Reimagine: Three Methods to Becoming a Culturally Competent Leader

In this session, participants will gain insight into how to develop a healthy mind and body to begin engaging in critical self-awareness to support them in their journey toward becoming a culturally competent leader. Participants will learn strategies to manage stress and set healthy boundaries as a way to develop and sustain systems and structures to institutionalize and operationalize CRSE practices across all classrooms. Participants will create a personalized roadmap to identify concrete next steps to assess and improve their mental and physical health, engage in self-reflection, and determine pivotal moves as a leader of culturally responsive instructional practices.
