Read Alouds that Teach Racial, Historical & Critical Literacies

This session helps elementary school educators strengthen their ability to design lessons that thematically integrate texts aligned to social studies concepts and center historically and culturally marginalized identities so that students learn to acknowledge, accept, and appreciate human differences across a broad range of characteristics and traits. Participants will gain pedagogical practices.
