Design Thinking for Liberatory Change in Alternative High School Settings
This training will focus on ways that professional learning and collaborative inquiry through a design lens can lead to educator mindset shifts necessary for engaging youth and strengthening instructional practice at schools sites that serve some of the most marginalized youth in education, those attending alternative or transfer school settings. Attendees will learn about that journey with educators in Boston. They will come away with a template for a process for meeting structures, collaborative learning and developing change ideas that center youth voice.
