CRSE: Not an add on- but an anchor
School equity teams are crucial to developing and maintaining culturally responsive systems within schools. During this session presenters will discuss the work of engaging faculty and staff in meaningful critical self reflection on identity and positionality as a foundation for developing personal shifts in practice rooted in CRSE principles. Participants will discuss and develop a plan for leveraging school equity teams for embedding critical self and institutional reflection into their school wide professional learning programs in order to create equity based practices that are systematized and sustainable.
