You Won't Break My Soul: A District-Wide Approach to Developing, Supporting, and Sustaining Culturally Responsive Leaders

n this session participants will explore how district-level leaders can leverage improvement science to build, support, and sustain culturally responsive school leaders. District level leaders will engage in reflective questioning as they build their capacity to develop school based leaders who ensure that students' identities, literacies, and communities are centered and valued. Throughout the session the presenter will share resources and strategies for leaders to begin their own journeys toward racial literacy and cultural competence.
