Grounded in freedom dreaming—the radical reimagining of what education can be—this intensive Lab empowers educators to envision and begin building liberatory learning environments. Through interactive workshops, collaborative strategy sessions, and reflective practice, participants will engage deeply in both imagination and action to catalyze systemic change in their schools, campuses, and communities.
Participants will engage in Dreaming on the Clock, an approach that centers imagination as a powerful tool for educational transformation.
Innovation Lab attendees will dive into sessions on liberatory curriculum design, healing-centered pedagogy, and strategies that foster student agency. Through hands-on workshops, creative strategy labs, reflection circles, and peer collaboration, the Lab moves beyond theory to inspire real-time innovation and action.
Led by a dynamic team of educators, researchers, and community organizers, you’ll leave with a toolkit of research-informed practices, fresh insights for your classroom or district, and a supportive community of fellow educators who know that radical imagination isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity.
Join us for a transformative experience where we don’t just talk about a better future—we begin to build it.
