Bridging Horizons: Uniting New York City & Texas on School Integration Policy & Practice

This workshop identifies how a holistic framework and definition of school integration can inform and apply both across schools and even across state lines. Participants will engage in a discussion about lessons learned and insights gathered from a cross- collaborative project between New York Appleseed and Texas Appleseed focused on breaking down regional silos in order to  further school integration efforts.  Participants will explore advocacy toolkits developed throughout the Appleseed collaborations and  discuss how these toolkits can be implemented and used to empower their own communities to enact change.
