On November 4, Research Alliance Deputy Director Cheri Fancsali will moderate a panel at the workshop on Authentic STEM Learning for Technology and Computing. At 2:30pm, Dr. Fancsali will moderate a panel featuring Jill Denner of ETR, Sonia Koshy of the Kapor Center, Keliann LaConte of Space Science Institute, Jean Ryoo of the University of California, Los Angeles, and David Weintrop of the University of Maryland. Hosted by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine’s (NAS) Board on Science Education, this public workshop will explore issues in STEM education, including efforts to increase diversity and access to authentic STEM education among underserved youth.
