Dr. Ronald Sadoff
Dr. Ronald Sadoff is the Founder and Program Director of the Screen Scoring program. Dr. Sadoff is also the program advisor for graduate students and Ph.D. candidates. He works in establishing relationships across the university and within the industry. He invites guest artists from an esteemed network of film composers, music editors, film editors, and other film industry professionals.
Mark Suozzo
Mark Suozzo is a music associate professor in Screen Scoring. Prof. Suozzo advises graduate Scoring students and coordinates our whole comprehensive orchestration curriculum. He is one of the producers and mentors of our recording sessions.
Irwin Fisch
Irwin Fisch is a music associate professor in Screen Scoring. Prof. Fisch advises graduate Scoring students and manages the program recording sessions including in-person recordings at NYU’s Dolan Studio as well as remote sessions with Musiversal. In addition to management, he also produces these sessions and mentors our composers.
Dr. Sergi Casanelles
Dr. Sergi Casanelles is the Screen Scoring Program Manager. Dr. Casanelles advises undergraduate scoring students and Ph.D. candidates and oversees all program courses, collaborations, and opportunities. He also manages program curriculum development and the Screen Scoring Summer Workshops.
Hunter Hanson
Hunter Hanson is a music adjunct instructor and admin in Screen Scoring. Hanson works on our academic planning, supports the website and social media postings, in addition to recording session music editing assistance. He is also the Music and the Moving Image Conference Coordinator and administers the Screen Scoring Summer Workshops.
Kat Vokes
Kat Vokes is a music adjunct instructor in Screen Scoring. She also provides music editing assistance for the program recording sessions and administers the internships course *need specific details.
Shruti Kumar
Shruti Kumar is a music adjunct instructor in Screen Scoring. Kumar manages and is currently expanding our partnerships for collaborations, concerts and recordings with organizations within and Universities outside of NYU.
Stefan Thompson
Stefan Thompson is a music adjunct instructor assisting in our undergraduate advisement, summer workshops, and other academic related initiatives.
Jackie Andresen
Jackie Andresen is a music adjunct instructor and admin in Screen Scoring that manages our social media, news, and alumni relations for the program. She also works along with Shruti, providing additional administrative support for our collaborations, and other program needs.
