In 2020, Dr. Tod Mijanovich worked on several long-term evaluations of the cost, utilization, and quality of care impacts of care management programs on chronically ill New York State Medicaid recipients, including the impact of New York's health home program on people with diabetes and people with serious mental illness, the impact of emergency department-based "peer advocates" on utilization of substance use-related services, and the impact of community health workers on medication use among people with hypertension.
