A3SR Visualization Competition Third Place Winner, Haoyujing He

Every year, PRIISM runs a student visualization competition to display and highlight the talents of the A3SR graduate students. 

The visualization content third place winner, A3SR student Haoyujing He, submitted a visualization titled "Frequency of Violations at Childcare Centers in NYC, 2020 – 2022". From October 2020 to October 2022, violations in city-regulated childcare centers were found in 82% of NYC. Particularly, 38 out of 214 neighborhoods categorized by zip code had either no associated violations or were not recorded over the past three years, showing in black (NA). The main categories of violations included public health hazards, critical (e.g., no fire extinguishers), and general (e.g., teachers didn't meet the required qualification).
