Welcome to Small Talk, Child Language Development & Disorders lab in the Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders at NYU. In this lab we study typical and atypical child language development, and the lab director is Dr. Christina Reuterskiöld. Dr. Reuterskiöld's work has involved studies on language skills in children with DLD, children with hearing impairment, and children with autism spectrum disorders. Her current work focuses on early language development, word learning, and literacy skills.

Students who are interested in getting hands-on experience with any aspect of the research process are encouraged to contact Dr. Reuterskiöld.
