Last Spring, the Learning Analytics Research Network (LEARN) conducted a survey to better understand how university students across the United States experienced the rapid shift to remote instruction in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. We are pleased to now share the complete findings in our College in the Time of Corona Spring 2020 Student Survey Report.
Results showed differences in experience between men and women as well as undergraduates and graduate students. Students' feelings and experiences changed over time, in a generally positive direction. Students shared what was working for them, what wasn't and what they thought could be done to improve things. These suggestions have direct implications for the design of remote learning experiences going forward.
