Welcome to Families and Children Experiencing Success Lab (FACES)
The Families and Children Experiencing Success (FACES) Lab at NYU is directed by Anil Chacko, Ph.D., Associate Professor in the college's Applied Psychology Department. The vision of the lab is to contribute to the generation of knowledge that informs how to support youth experiencing behavioral difficulties and their families to lead successful and flourishing lives. Our mission is to engage in research, scholarship, and direct services that develop, evaluate and provide informal and formal approaches to increase access and engagement to optimize interventions to reduce burden and enhance flourishing of youth with disruptive behavioral challenges and their families.

Research
The goal of research conducted in this lab is to understand how best to develop efficient prevention, intervention, and service delivery models for youth at high-risk for and those affected with Disruptive Behavior Disorders.
Services
We are committed to serving the needs of our community. We offer a limited number of free-of-cost training and presentations on a wide variety of mental health issues. We also welcome both undergraduate students and post-bachelor graduates. Individuals may receive course credit or work in the lab as a volunteer.
