International candidates who hold the equivalent of an U.S.bachelor's degree are also encouraged to apply. International candidates who do not have the equivalent of a bachelor's but who hold an artist diploma are welcome to apply to the music performance, music theory, or composition programs.
Degree candidates must submit an application using our online system only.
Nondegree/special student applications must be submitted in paper form. To learn more about how to apply and download the application visit our application page.
Our application process is self-managed and the applicant is responsible for ensuring the Office of Graduate Admissions receives all required materials by the stated deadline. Due to high volume we are unable to confirm receipt of mailed in materials.
