Thank you for your interest in graduate study at NYU Steinhardt! We welcome applications from all qualified candidates who hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university or the international equivalent.

Includes MA (master of arts), MAT (master of arts in teaching), MFA (master of fine arts), MM (master of music), MS (master of science)

 

Doctoral Programs

Includes PhD (doctor of philosophy), EdD (doctor of education), DMA (doctor of musical arts), DPT (doctor of physical therapy), OTD (doctor of occupational therapy)

Advanced Certificate and Diploma Programs

Includes ADCRT (Advanced Certificate), ADPL (Advanced Diploma)

Applying for the FAFSA

In order to apply for financial aid from NYU, you must complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is a great way to become eligible for many forms of federal aid and scholarships, so we encourage you to submit the FAFSA no matter what your plan to fund your education.
