A Dialogue: Building Resistances to Criminalization is scheduled for April 6, 2017 in NYU Pless Lounge from 2:30 to 4:00 pm. Dr. Sukhmani, Director of the Resilience Opportunity Safety Education Strength (ROSES) study will be joined by Dr. Nikhil Pal Singh, Associate Professor of Social and Cultural Analysis and History and Faculty Director of the NYU Prison Education Program, and Dr. Erica Meiners, Bernard N. Brommel Distinguished Research Professor at Northeastern Illinois University, where she teaches classes in justice studies, education, gender and sexuality studies.
