Metro's ROSES project has been effectively working to highlight issues impacting girls who are pushed into involvement with the juvenile justice system. ROSEBUD Scientists, a participatory team including both youth co-researchers and New York University based researchers work under direct mentorship of ROSES directors Dr. Singh and Dr. Javdani to bring awareness to these issues. The ROSEBUD Scientists team convenes weekly and is working on a wide variety of analytical projects.
