A framework for serving ELLs with Dyslexia and Dysgraphia
Two-part series designed to equip K–8 educators with actionable, culturally responsive frameworks for identifying and supporting English Language Learners with dyslexia and dysgraphia.
Presenters:
Dr. Alba A. Ortiz - Professor Emerita, Department of Special Education, in the College of Education, at The University of Texas at Austin, and a nationally recognized expert on the education of English Learners with language and learning disabilities.  
Dr. Linda Cavazos - The Executive Director of ELLAS Consulting (English Learner Leadership Advocacy Support) provides policy and practice guidance as well as professional development to states. She conducts research focused on English Learners.
