How can you facilitate more effective and inclusive meetings?

Metro Learning Communities’ Facilitative Leadership Seminar instructs participants to master protocols for strategic planning, data analysis, curriculum development, and reflections on student learning. Seminar participants will also benefit from one-on-one coaching in highly engaging sessions to boost meeting effectiveness. 

This innovative, hybrid development series hosted by Metro Learning Communities (MLC) is designed for teacher leaders, instructional coaches, and administrators to improve effective group learning and equity cultivating techniques.

Activities include:

  • Experience a wide range of protocols including The Atlas Looking At Data, Issaquah, Three Levels of Text, The Collaborative Assessment, and Diversity Rounds
  • Practice facilitation skills to structure effective group work in a variety of settings such as schools, the community or in classrooms
  • Access one-on-one coaching to support the facilitation of protocols and processes
  • Surface and explore assumptions about equity, race and gender
  • Examine professional resources

We welcome all educators including lead teachers, coaches, school, district/network leaders & aspiring leaders.

  • In-Person Dates – December 13th, January 24th 13th | 9:30 AM - 4 PM | @ NYU Campus
  • Virtual Dates - December 4th , January 8th | 4:30- 6:45 PM (EST) | Zoom

Fees:
