In this Seminar, participants learn skills, tools and protocols to enhance their ability to facilitate meetings of all kinds: grade-level meetings, study groups, data analysis meetings, and more. Participants will explore protocols for opening and closing meetings, resolving conflicts, enhancing participation and engagement, exploring equity issues and learning from text and speakers.

  • This experience enhances the participant's skill in facilitating collaborative and reflective discussions as they strive to better support students that lead to equitable outcomes.
  • This is a highly interactive hybrid experience. 
  • The focus for group work and feedback centers on authentic work provided by the participants.

Activities include:

  • Experience a wide range of protocols including The Atlas Looking At Data, Issaquah, Three Levels of Text, The Collaborative Assessment, and Diversity Rounds
  • Practice facilitation skills to structure effective group work in a variety of settings such as schools, the community or in classrooms
  • Access one-on-one coaching to support the facilitation of protocols and processes
  • Surface and explore assumptions about equity, race and gender
  • Examine professional resources

We welcome all educators including lead teachers, coaches, school, district/network leaders & aspiring leaders.

Fees: 

Non-partnership schools 

  • Regular Fee: $975.
