  • Teacher Certificate Program in Understanding of Chinese Culture & Practice 
    Jointly designed by China Institute in New York City, and East China Normal University in Shanghai, the Teacher Certificate Program: Understanding of Chinese Culture in Practice is an innovative certificate program for all K-16 in-service and pre-service teachers of Chinese as a second language in world language, dual or immersion programs, and other subject area teachers.   • Statewide Language RBERN Mentor/Mentee Scholarship Program at NYSAFLT    
    The NYS Statewide Language RBERN at NYU sponsors ten NYS public school world language teachers to attend the NYS Association of Foreign Language Teachers (NYSAFLT) annual conference for the first time attendees and ten $50 stipends for experienced teachers to serve as their mentors.  The ten new teachers are paired with a mentor to make their first conference experience a meaningful and productive one!  Please click here to apply.
