PART 1 | ROADMAP TO COLLEGE  FOR PARENTS of ELLs & ELL HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS (ONLINE)
In this workshop, we will review and discuss: the High School Graduation Requirements in New York State, the three options to appeal low score Regents Exams, information to know how to best advocate for and support your child, preparing to meet with the Guidance Counselor, review your child’s transcript, and confirm your child is on track to graduate in 2025. This workshop series will be held in English, Chinese, Haitian-Creole, Russian and Spanish.

Implementing Secondary ELA Curricula with Entering, Emerging and Low Transitioning ELLs: Approaches, Strategies and Resources (Gr. 6-12) | ONLINE | 3-PART SERIES
This series is designed for ELA teachers, ELA supervisors and ENL/Bilingual specialists in middle schools and high schools where new arrivals are enrolled in ENL/ELA courses and a mandated ELA curriculum is in use. It consists of three sessions, with the second session specialized for either middle level or high school educators in order to model the adaptation process with widely-used ELA curricula (Please attend one or the other, as appropriate for your grade level). It will focus on what is necessary to implement the ELA curriculum in stage-appropriate ways with Entering, Emerging and Low Transitioning ELLs and share approaches, strategies and resources for doing so.
