2 Part Series | Part 1 is March 1, 2025 and Part 2 is March 22, 2025
This Professional Development Institute is designed for secondary science and social studies teachers and supervisors, ENL teachers, paraprofessionals, and program coordinators. This Institute will review the challenges Transitioning and Expanding ELLs face in middle and high school science and social studies classes at the word, sentence and discourse levels in order to fully capture the content and express their understandings of the topics being taught. Across the two sessions, the presenter will model strategies and practices with topics from US History and Living Environment.
