We are here to serve educators, parents, and families of English Language Learners (ELL) and world Language students with information and resources. To support educators, we offer a wide range of professional development opportunities, and for parents and families we offer workshops in multiple languages. We encourage you to review our robust list of guides, instructional materials and resources for English Language Learners and world language students, and resources for parents and families that are translated into multiple languages. Lastly, we host the NYS Parent Hotline to respond to inquiries from New York State’s non-English speaking parents and families regarding their rights and the rights of their children. Please click on the “Parent Hotline” tab at the top of this page to access the Hotline.

This Hotline was created to provide parents, guardians and other persons in parental relation of ELLs with information about their rights and services for their children pursuant to Commissioner’s Regulation 154.
