We're so excited that you're interested in joining our team! We use two editorial review boards to revise manuscripts and get them ready for publication. See below for more information on each team and how to join.
Internal Review Board
The Internal Review Board (IRB) is made up of current full-time or part-time masters students. These editors can be in any kind of graduate program at any accredited college or university. IRB editors will collaborate with another fellow editor to edit at least one manuscript throughout the academic year as well as participate in socials and events to connect with fellow scholars and to develop their professional network. At the beginning of the academic year, IRB editors are invited to participate in an editorial training session to help IRB editors provide critical and substantial feedback.
External Review Board
The External Review Board (ERB) is made up of current full-time higher education and student affairs professionals, faculty, and/or administrators. These editors can work in any functional area in higher education and do not need to have been previously published in a journal. Doctoral candidates are also encouraged to serve on the ERB.
