Year-by-Year Guide

 

Fall Semester

Spring Semester

Freshman Year
  • Attend Global Media Scholars Program (GMSP) information session
  • Complete core curriculum course work in major
  • Apply to GMSP by August 1, 2012
Sophomore Year
  • Spend semester abroad at NYU-Paris or NYU-Prague
  • Enroll in MCC's Global Media Seminar along with other MCC courses abroad by advisement
Junior Year
  • Complete course work in Global and Transcultural Communication field of study
Senior Year
  • Enroll in a special Senior Media Seminar capstone course offered in the January winter session. This course may involve travel to an NYU academic center abroad (TBD)
  • Upon completion of all components, "Global Studies in MCC" distinction noted on transcript
