Silvia Rodriguez Vega explores issues of structural inequality, immigration policy, mixed-status families, trans-border relations, undocumented youth and children, art and “artivism,” and the way that anti-immigration policy impacts the lives of immigrant children. Her work has been published in Journal of Latino Studies, Association of Mexican American Educator’s Journal, and Harvard Journal of Hispanic Policy. She contributed the chapter, ‘Selfless Selfie Citizenship: Chupacabras Selfie Project,’ to the volume Selfie Citizenship (Palgrave MacMillan, 2017), edited by Adi Kuntsman.
