Creating and Sustaining the Conditions

This set of indicators looks at how schools and systems create and sustain the conditions that allow more and better learning time to take root and develop. They measure the commitment, collaboration, and actions of the organizations and individuals across the more and better learning time ecosystem who are responsible for meeting the needs of students and families. The indicators look for evidence of conditions favorable to expanded learning time, such as shared goals and plans within and across schools and partners, a positive school climate, resources and policies that support implementation, and meaningful involvement of students and families.
