|On behalf of the Office of Global Inclusion, Diversity, and Strategic Innovation and the Division of Student Affairs, we are excited to announce the theme for MLK Week 2019 is, “What’s Left of the Dream?”
This theme invites the community to examine the current national and global sociopolitical climate; engage in dialogue that examines MLK’s dream within contemporary context; and imagine what a “more left” and progressive “dream” and movement may be in these times. What might MLK implore upon us today in response to this tyranny? What do we need to organize for greater liberation and human rights?
Among the various programs that the MLK Week Planning Committee organizes, we encourage all schools, offices, and student organizations to submit additional programming for NYU MLK Week 2019, as well as the overall month of February.
Please submit this form by Friday, January 10th, 2019, 5:00PM to have your program/event included on the MLK Week website!
