First Generation Check-In
You’ve gotten started with typical college things—taking interesting classes, finding friends who you can have fun with, and the all-you-can-eat dessert in the dining halls. But as a first generation student, you may still feel overwhelmed by some things that are new to you and your family.

NYU Steinhardt’s Office of Student Affairs is enthusiastic about supporting students who may identify with being less familiar with the college-going experience and would like greater support in navigating university life.
