The Women’s Congressional Policy Institute has been the home for the Congressional Fellowships on Women and Public Policy since 2014. The Fellowships are designed to train potential leaders in public policy formation to examine issues from the perspective, experiences, and needs of women. Administered by WCPI, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization located in Washington, DC, this program is unique—the only graduate level fellowship program on Capitol Hill directly by, for, and about women. Fellows will receive a stipend of approximately $3,400.00 per month gross. An additional sum of up to $1,000 is provided for the purchase of health insurance with submission of a bill from a provider. Students are responsible for their housing, transportation, and meeting academic requirements.
