Conversations of Color: Juvenile Justice-Involved Adolescent Girls – March 9, 2017

RSVP here to attend Conversations of Color: Juvenile Justice-Involved Adolescent Girls. Legal justice does not equal social justice. In launching an advocacy program for juvenile justice-involved adolescent girls, Dr. Shabnam Javdani spent 4 years collaborating with a number of organizations who control when and under what circumstances youth are arrested. Over the course of this time, a number of challenging ethical tensions emerged. Join Dr. Javdani for an interactive discussion at one of NYU Steinhardt’s most treasured traditions.

Date: Thursday, March 9, 2017

Time: 12:30pm-1:45pm

Please Pless Hall, 3rd Fl Lounge, 82 Washington Square East
