NYU Reynolds is proud to provide a great opportunity for social entrepreneurs from across NYU’s graduate and undergraduate communities. If you are looking for an international internship experience or are interested in making a difference within the field of social enterprise this opportunity is for you. Join NYU Reynolds and Greg van Kirk, co-founder of Social Entrepreneur Corps and The New Development Solutions Group, for an information session about Social Entrepreneur Corps on March 20th at 7pm in the Jersey Conference Room at NYU Wagner, 295 Lafayette Street, 2nd floor. RSVP at http://bit.ly/yrZXQ1.
Social Entrepreneur Corps (www.socialentrepreneurcorps.com) is a social enterprise that leads innovative and dynamic international internship programs in Guatemala, Ecuador, Nicaragua, South Africa and the Dominican Republic. Interns work in the field alongside sister organization Community Enterprise Solutions (www.cesolutions.org) supporting social innovations such as the award-winning MicroConsignment Model, which has been featured in the New York Times (http://nyti.ms/hOIONE) and on CNN (http://cnnmon.ie/9MxWAJ). To learn more about the MicroConsignment Model and the work that interns do, you can watch Euliria’s Story (http://youtu.be/4ctI0xoA5Uk).
The event is free and open to all NYU students but an RSVP is required at http://bit.ly/yrZXQ1.
