Wasserman: Spring Job + Internship Fair / 2012 Government & Non-Profit Career Expo

The Wasserman Center would like to welcome you to the following fairs in February.

Thursday, February 2nd  |  11AM – 3PM
NYU Kimmel Center
Meet with employers hiring for summer internships and full-time positions in various industries! Explore different industries, gather information about career options, and connect with employers.
PARTICIPATING EMPLOYERS: A list of participating employers is available on NYU CareerNet under Events > Career Fairs
REGISTRATION: Advanced RSVP is not required. Student registration will take place on the day of the fair in the first floor Kimmel Center lobby, outside the elevator bank. You need only your NYU ID card to gain entry to the fair. 
PREPARE FOR THE FAIR: Making the Most of a Career Fair seminar will be held on Tuesday, January 31st at 12:30PM at NYU Wasserman Center. Take advantage of this and our extended walk-ins to prepare for the upcoming fair. Friday, February 17th  |  10AM – 3PM
Georgetown University 
Travel to Washington D.C. to meet employers hiring for full-time and internship positions in the government, non-profit and public sectors.  This is a great opportunity to network with government agencies, think tanks and other public policy organizations. The fair is held in collaboration with Georgetown University, University of Virginia, University of Richmond, College of William & Mary and Swarthmore College. The Expo will be held at the Georgetown University Hotel and Conference Center, Leavey Center at Georgetown University, Washington, DC.

REGISTRATION: All students must RSVP in advance on NYU CareerNet to be added to the list of attendees.
TRANSPORTATION: The Wasserman Center will provide free bus transportation to a limited number of students.  Seats on the bus will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Students who wish to take the NYU bus to DC must submit a $20 cash deposit to the Wasserman Center front desk. Students may also find alternate transportation to the fair.

PARTICIPATING EMPLOYERS: A list of participating employers will be provided one week prior to the fair.
