If you have an innovative idea to make NYU more sustainable, this is your chance to receive the funding, recognition and support you need to make it happen. Each semester, grants are awarded to students, faculty and staff to lead projects that identify and address sustainability challenges at NYU. Since 2007, we’ve funded dozens of diverse projects like the NYU Bike Share, Green Lease Report, Community Agriculture Club, and Green Apple Move Out. These and other projects have become an ongoing part of the work to sustainably transform our campus.
Deadline: October 24th
All current NYU students, staff and faculty members are welcome to apply. New grants are selected each fall and spring semester and are expected to be implemented within two semesters after the launch date.
Proposed Green Grants will be selected based on their environmental and educational impact, feasibility, scalability and innovation. If you are interested in applying, submit your proposal online no later than October 24, 2011. A new round of grants will also be selected in the Spring.
To guide you through the application process, please refer to the Green Grants Application Toolkit. For more information on the Green Grants program, including application process and timeline, examples of past projects, and a detailed explanation of the submission criteria, visit our website.
