MLK Week Conversations of Color

Please join us for the NYU MLK Week Conversations of Color on Thursday, February 10th, 12:30-1:45 pm in the Pless Hall 3rd floor lounge, 82 Washington Square East.  The goal of Conversations of Color is to provide a forum for students, faculty and administrators to meet and talk about issues of diversity.

This month our topic will be “The Politics of Hair: How Hair Affects Identity.” Through conversation and a panel discussion we will dive into how hair impacts experiences related to racial and ethnic communities, beauty and professionalism.

Lunch will be provided.

Conversations of Color is sponsored by the NYU Steinhardt office of Student Affairs.
