The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Business Leadership Award will provide outstanding Hispanic women with a demonstrated interest in business and entrepreneurship with mentoring and scholarship assistance. Students entering their junior year of college who are chosen for this highly selective program will be supported by a Goldman Sachs mentor, an HSF student advisor, and a scholarship award ($10,000 over two years at $5,000 per year).

10,000 WOMEN BUSINESS LEADERSHIP AWARD Eligibility Requirements *Be a female student completing her sophomore year with plans to enroll as a FULL-TIME junior during the 2010-2011 academic year.
*Have demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship or pursuing a business career.
*Have a personal statement, resume, and letter of recommendation that attest to leadership, entrepreneurial and business activities, and to how a Goldman Sachs mentor would advance those interests.
*Be prepared to be possibly interviewed as part of the selection process.
*Must be attending one of the following universities in the 2010-2011 year:
Baruch College (CUNY)
New York University
University of Texas-Austin
University of California-Los Angeles
St. John’s University (New York)
*Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
*Be of Hispanic Heritage.
*Be a U.S. citizen or a legal permanent resident of the United States.
*Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
*Be Pell-grant eligible
