Robert Landy, director of Steinhardt’s drama therapy program, has released The Vulture & The Lamb, a CDfrom copticbuzz, described as “alternative bluesy topical pop with acoustic, electric guitar and mandolin overtones joining as one to make you happy.”
Landy, a researcher and writer, has published articles, films, and plays in the fields of drama therapy and musical theatre. His collaborator, David Rinaldi, is a musician and composer.
Landy’s most recent musical is God Lives in Glass, which premiered at the Provincetown Playhouse in 2003. “We began The Vulture & The Lamb with a single song, Washington Square, a personal and reflective piece which David set to music. Not surprisingly, several of my songs are about academia,” Landy says.
