Vincent Perez, current Director at Columbia-Presbyterian Sports Therapy, received his BS in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College. Before his current position at Columbia-Presbyterian, Vincent accumulated a variety of experience on various levels over the last 18 years. He assisted at preseason evaluations and training camps for the NY Knicks (NBA) and NY Rangers (NHL), served as a rehabilitation consultant for the NY Yankees, has been an adjunct professor and instructor at NYU, participated on the medical staff for the PGA Tour Buick Classic, served as a conditioning consultant for the United States Military Academy at West Point, and has been part of the Golf Fitness and Human Performance Program at Westchester Country Club.

Vincent has given numerous professional lectures throughout his practice life time on various orthopedic topics to a variety of audiences, including the NYPTA Annual State Conference, Northeast Regional Seminars, American College of Sports Medicine, Manhattan School of Music, and NY Medical College. Some of these presentations topics have included: indications and application of taping, ACL rehabilitation, Patellofemoral Syndrome, Closed Kinetic Chain Assessment and Treatment, Postural Treatment and Prevention, Functional Therapeutic Exercise, Functional Balance and Stabilization Training, Close Chain Rehabilitation for the Lower Quarter, and Current Concepts in Shoulder and Elbow Rehabilitation. Vincent's areas of professional and academic expertise include orthopedic and sports physical therapy, the musculoskeletal system, biomechanics, sports performance enhancement, and ergonomics.
