Benjamin Gelfand


Benjamin Gelfand, PT, SCS is a Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist. He attended S.U.N.Y. Stony Brook and received his Physical Therapy degree from New York University in 1988. Ben began his career as a staff and then senior physical therapist at Lenox Hill Hospital. In 1990, Ben became a member of the Lenox Hill Hospital Sports Medicine Department. (The Prestigious Nicholas Institute of Sports Medicine.) In 1994 he became Chief Physical Therapist for the department. In 1998 Ben was awarded certification as Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist from The American Physical Therapy Association. Ben is the author of the self-help book, The Return to Glory Days. In 1999 Ben co-founded Sports Therapy And Rehabilitation Physical Therapy.
