France and Germany: Visual Arts and Performing Arts Administration

This course explores the implications of disability in global contexts with varying levels of industrialization. It examines how local public and private sectors, including schools, hospitals, markets, or transportation systems, affect the lives of people with disabilities in France.

2020 Graduate Tuition: $1,795 per point plus registration and services fees.

NYU students: this course counts toward your Summer course load and tuition

Other Costs:

2020 Housing and Activity Fees have yet to be finalized.  Participants can expect costs to be similar to 2019;

2019 Housing Fees: $600
2019 Activity Fees: $600

Housing and activity fees are billed through the Bursar and will be due in accordance with the Summer 2020 Bursar billing schedule.

International airfare to and from the program location is not included in the program fee. Students must purchase their own round-trip tickets and are responsible for their own accommodation for travel beyond the program dates.

Students will be notified when to book flights. We recommend comparing tickets on multiple sites to ensure the best fare. Past participants have used the following flight search engines: KayakHipmunkVayamaGoogle Flights and Student Universe for student rates.


Students will reside in shared-occupancy accommodations arranged by Global Affairs.

Your accommodation arrangements are included in your Housing and Activity Fees.

Group accommodation dates correspond with the program dates listed above.

Travel, Visa, and Other Information:

Flight: Students will be notified when to purchase flights. When notified, students will purchase a multi-city ticket to Europe to coincide with program dates. Domestic travel during program dates is included in the housing and activity fees.

Passport: All program participants are required to have a valid passport, which must be valid at least six months beyond the program end date.
