Doctoral Student Spotlights

Tzu-Ying Yu

Occupational Therapy

I chose this Doctoral Program Because:
because NYU has an excellent research and a superb global reputation. The courses that NYU provides give me a deeper understanding of therapeutic methods and assessment techniques for common functional problems seen in patients. I accomplished my Master's degree in the Department of Occupational Therapy at NYU, as well. The PhD program of NYU is still my first priority, because I truly love my department. The professors are very knowledgeable, supportive, and make themselves available for all of the students. The professors teach the courses very well and always give really good support for students. Not only are they prepared for lectures and stimulate students ' interest in the subject, they extend above and beyond their role as professor to help students succeed in their courses and research.
