Project Associate, ECDEC
Wendy has been with TIES since November 2018 and is currently a Project Associate on the Early Childhood Development in Emergency & Conflict (ECDEC) project where she provides project management support to mainly the Ahlan Simsim initiative in the Middle East. She previously worked in the advancement field at the Lebanese American University NY office and as an elementary school English teacher in Palestine. Her diverse background also includes experience working as a Research & Policy Associate at a child advocacy non-profit in Washington, DC, a Congressional office staff member on Capitol Hill, and at Murphy Putnam Media, a Democratic political media firm where she worked with a variety of political campaigns including Obama for America. She earned her B.A. in Economics from the University of North Texas.
