Project Director, ASD Nest
Aaron Lanou, MSEd, helps to coordinate the ASD Nest Support Project in its mission to provide support to ASD Nest schools. He develops and provides workshops, seminars, and in-school consultation to help teachers work with their students with ASD. Aaron taught in Massachusetts and New York City schools for ten years as a special educator. His areas of interest include developing strengths-focused, targeted strategies for academic support and social development. He co-authored, along with Lauren Hough and another colleague, an article for Intervention in School and Clinic about using students’ strengths and interests to support their social, behavioral, and academic needs.
