Metro's EJ-ROC and PRE Host Curriculum Scoring Party

Metro's Education Justice Research and Organizing Collaborative (EJ-ROC) and Center for Policy, Research and Evaluation (PRE) in collaboration with Black Lives Matter in Schools, will host a curriculum scoring party on February 7, 2019, in celebration of releasing their Culturally Responsive Curriculum Scorecard. The Culturally Responsive Curriculum Scorecard ranges on a scale from Culturally Destructive to Culturally Responsive, and can be used to conduct a more thorough evaluation of English Language Arts curriculum.

Join Black Lives Matter in Schools and teachers, parents and community members to learn about the scorecard, score your own curriculum or ones provided, and support CEJ in their advocacy with the NYC Department of Education to make curriculum more reflective of the students and communities we serve.

Dinner will be provided. If you are in need of childcare during this workshop, please contact Lindsey Foster and lf89@nyu.edu or 212-998-8572 so that we can make accommodations.
