MPAP Celebrates Grammy Winners

grammy awards Five alumni of the Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions were among the honorees when the Recording Academy announced its winners at the 61st Grammy Awards ceremony on Sunday, February 10, 2019.

Grammy Awards are selected annually to honor artistic achievement, technical proficiency, and overall excellence in the recording industry.

We also congratulate Music Technology alum David Harris (MM '10), known professionally as Swagg R'Celious, who joined H.E.R. on stage as she accepted the Grammy for Best R&B Album. He worked on the album as a writer and producer.
