New Media, Culture, and Communication Students Begin NYU Studies in Paris

Students in Paris at a group mealThe Media, Culture and Communication (MCC) in Paris program launched in Fall 2018, with 20 transfer students beginning their sophomore year at NYU. This new program allows incoming students the opportunity to take a tailored set of MCC courses, taught by MCC faculty, while immersing themselves in a global experience.

Students in Paris at a group meal“Students can take advantage of all the site has to offer, including a wide range of cultural programming. Excursions to Burgundy, Calais, Normandy, Strasbourg and the Alpilles complement the tastings, shows, sports, and museum tours that are organized by the amazing staff at the site,” explains Aurora Wallace, Clinical Associate Professor of MCC and currently teaching in Paris. “By the time our students get to New York, they will have seen a lot!”

The MCC in Paris program allows students to complete two of their core courses in the intimate setting of NYU Paris and provides an exciting new entry point for students studying art, media, fashion, and culture; all while keeping transfer students on track for graduation.
