Metro's TACD Co-Facilitate Training with Buffalo Public Schools

Metro's Technical Assistance Center on Disproportionality (TAC-D) is in its second year working with Buffalo Public Schools (BPS). TAC-D and BPS have begun to co-facilitate a Culturally Responsive Education Training. In partnership with BPS’s Culturally and Linguistically Responsive Teaching (CLRT) team, María G. Hernández, TAC-D Director, David Lopez and Reed Swier, TAC-D Project Associates, are training over three hundred members in the district to shift the beliefs contributing the the disproportionate suspension of students of color.
