TianYi Li (Studio of Eduardus Halim) Wins 3rd Prize in Tbilisi International Piano Competition

Piano Studies junior TianYi Li, a student of Sascha Gorodnitzki Chair Eduardus Halim, has won third prize in the 6th Tbilisi International Piano Competition. TianYi Li was born in Shenzhen, China. He started studying piano at the age of six, and moved to New York City in 2011 to attend Manhattan School of Music Pre-college and Professional Children’s school. He was also the first prize winner of the 14th Annual New York Music Competition, and YoungArts National Winner for 2014 and 2015.
In addition to third prize, TianYi won the following prizes in Tbilisi:
Annarosa Tadei's Special Prize awarded by the Georgian Music Competitions Fund FOR THE BEST PERFORMANCE OF ROMANTIC MUSIC
Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Georgia Special Prize FOR THE BEST PERFORMANCE OF A SCARLATTI SONATA
Ministry of Cultures and Monuments Protection of Georgia Prize FOR THE BEST RECITAL IN THE SEMIFINAL
