Drs. Pamela Morris and Elise Cappella awarded $256,726 subaward from Bezos Foundation

Drs. Pamela Morris and Elise Cappella received a subaward from the NYU School of Medicine (PI: Dr. Laurie Miller Brotman) in the amount of $256,726, provided through funding from the Bezos Family Foundation. The goal of the project, entitled "NYC Pre-K Thrive Assessment and Quality Control," is to conduct child-level assessments to support an evaluation of Thrive, one of the tracks of the NYC Pre-K for All system of professional learning for leaders and teachers. This newest award complements a body of research that Drs. Morris and Cappella are conducting in collaboration with Dr. Cybele Raver and leadership at the Division of Early Childhood Education at NYC's DOE to support a university-district partnership for NYC's Pre-K for All program.
